The Other Reviewers...

After posting that I was doing a review... another member of newdiaperclub decided to do the same thing. She has been a member since Jan 09. If you would like her point of view also, please see her blogs:

I just want to say that our opinions may differ but my goal is to provide only my experience and to do so completely objectively. I won't bash the company but I will be honest and say the good with the bad.

I am not reviewing for any monetary gain.
I am not affiliated with newdiaperclub.
I am a paying member (bought a years' worth of diapers)

  1. Bad Bad Bad and I'm not sure how to make it better. Ordered in Jan. and have gotten only two shipments. I talked to Amy once because the 2nd shipment was delayed and shipped only after I called. Funny, because I paid them in installments of $160 each. Every time I emailed them to send me an invoice, they did not respond, so, being a responsible customer I paid them via paypal anyway. I sent them the total $500 and received a quick email saying "will ship in morning thank you" on April 13 and never got the diapers. I've been calling the number every day about 5-6 x's without response. I don't get it. I just wanted to make my life easier. Not have to write these emails and make unnecessary phone calls. Any idea on how to go about reaching them?

  2. Ja! you are in the same boat as many of us. I stopped making calls or e-mails. I contacted my paypal company to get my money back. They are stilling money and not getting back to us, I think they are already buying a new house or trying to leave the country

  3. I am having the same problem...no answer at the phone number listed...no response to emails...I am very frustrated. I filed a claim with PayPal and my credit card as I have had to purchase diapers for two months now. Please let me know if you here from "Amy" or "Judy" as I have been unsuccessful since early March.

  4. We signed up in March too and ordered this month and no diapers! Called all week and no one answered the phone. Emailed twice and got no response. I beieve it's a scam nd have asked for our money back. I'll be calling the better business bureau about them in NC.

  5. Hi, I too have had problems with newdiaperclub.com this month.

    I initially found them on Ebay, and paid $75 for 12 months of wipes via Paypal in January. Then, when I didn't hear from them for a month, I processed a Paypal claim, and got a refund.

    As an apology, Amy Gelliher sent me a huge complimentary box of baby wipes. I was so taken aback by that kind gesture that I went ahead and ordered 12 months of baby wipes via their website store. They were having a promotion and I paid $81. Since I use both cloth and disposable diapers, I thankfully didn't need to buy diapers from them.

    I received both March and April shipments, early each month. I was happy since I read on their website that their April deliveries were delayed.

    When I inquired about my May shipment, Amy emailed me back on May 4 to say that my shipment was on schedule.

    Today is May 19, and I have not heard from her at all.

    I have written to the following emails:

    creeksidereps@hotmail.com <-- this last email address was on the Paypal claim as being the contact email.

    I have written to all three emails. I have now processed a BBB complaint. If they don't respond in a timely manner, I will contact my credit card company for help. I want the baby wipes.

    If they are not able to ship the product as promised, then I want a refund.

  6. Update: I have processed a claim through my credit card company today.

    I would recommend that each of you also do the same. NOTE: There is a 60-day time limit when credit card companies can dispute a charge. I came just under that time limit.

    I think Amy knew that, which is why she only sent 2 shipments. Legally after 60 days, credit card companies cannot dispute charges.

    My credit card company will contact them, and if they don't respond within 6 weeks, I'll get my remaining money back. Won't I be happy to get that news.

    I have also processed a claim via BBB.

    Contact your credit companies soon. Good luck to everyone.
